Abstract Occupational accidents remain a serious public health issue, particularly in the oil palm plantation sector, which involves various hazards such as sharp objects, heavy physical workloads, and uneven terrain. A preliminary survey at the plantation of PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk Begerpang showed that most workers had not used personal protective equipment (PPE) completely, putting them at high risk of occupational accidents. This study aimed to analyze the risk factors Such as age, length of employment, and compliance with PPE use that affected the occurrence of occupational accidents among workers in Division 1 Plantation at PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk Begerpang, Deli Serdang Regency, in 2026. This was a quantitative study using a cross-sectional design. The population and sample consisted of all 40 workers in Division 1 Plantation, selected using the total sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed through univariate and bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test at a 95% confidence level (α = 0.05). The results showed that most respondents had a moderate level of occupational accident risk (55.0%), most were classified as at risk based on length of employment (75.0%), and most were classified as non-compliant with PPE use (62.5%). The Chi-Square test results showed a significant relationship between age and occupational accident risk (p = 0.000), as well as between PPE-use compliance and occupational accident risk (p = 0.000), whereas length of employment showed no significant relationship with occupational accident risk (p = 0.545). This study was concluded that age and PPE-use compliance are risk factors significantly associated with the occurrence of occupational accidents, whereas length of employment was not a dominant factor in this study. The company is advised to more actively monitor PPE-use compliance and to provide ongoing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training for workers, particularly older workers. 1
