| Abstract | This study aimed to analyse factors related to safe behaviour in workers at PT. Biyu Iyas Malela, BATU-BARA Regency. Ocupational Health and Safety (OHS) is essential to prevent occupational accident and occupational disease, wich can hinder production and cause financial loses. Despite various preventive efforts, work accidents still occur frequently, often caused by unsafe action. This study identified four main factors that effect safe behaviour: knowledge, attitudes, availability of Personal Protetctive Equipment (PPE), and OHS communication media. The study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design involving 40 workers as respondents. The results of the analysis showed that poor knowledge, negative attitudes, adequate PPE availability of PPE, and inadequate OHS communication media correlated with unsafe behaviour. On the contrary, good knowledge, positive attitudes, adequate PPE availability, and effective OHS communication media tent to result in safe behaviors. A significant relationship was found between knowledge, attitudes, availability of PPE, and OHS communication media and safe behaviour. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of comprehensive interventions to improve safe behaviors, including OHS education, foresting positive attitudes, providing adequate PPE, and strengthening OHS communication media.
