| Abstract | Hospital service performance is a key indicator in assessing the success of healthcare service delivery. This study is aimed to determine the influence of administrative staff workload on service performance at Sembiring General Hospital, specifically examining the impact of working conditions, work time utilization, and performance targets on service performance. The study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The sample was determined using a total sampling technique, comprising all 95 administrative employees at Sembiring General Hospital. Data analysis was conducted using univariate and bivariate analysis, utilizing the Chi-Square test. The results indicated that working conditions significantly influence the service performance of administrative staff at Sembiring General Hospital this implies that better perceived working conditions lead to improved service performance. Work time utilization also significantly affects service performance, demonstrating that effective use of work time enhances the quality of service performance. Furthermore, performance targets significantly influence administrative staff service performance, indicating that targets which are proportional and aligned with staff capacity support improved service performance. Thus, it can be concluded that the workload of administrative staff has a significant influence on service performance at Sembiring General Hospital. | 1 |
