| Abstract | Low back pain (LBP) is one of the most common musculoskeletal disorders experienced by tailors due to prolonged sitting, repetitive movements, and long working hours. This condition can reduce work productivity and negatively affect workers' quality of life. This study aimed to determine the factors associated with the incidence of Low back pain (LBP) among tailor workers at Kabanjahe Market, Kabanjahe District, in 2026. This study employed a quantitative observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The population and sample consisted of 47 tailor workers selected using the total sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and observation sheets. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test with a 95% confidence level (α = 0.05). The results showed that there were significant associations between age (p = 0.031), length of employment (p = 0.003), repetitive movements (p = 0.013), and working duration (p = 0.006) and the incidence of Low back pain (LBP). After the finding,this study concluded Age, length of employment, repetitive movements, and working duration were factors associated with the incidence of Low back pain among tailor workers at Kabanjahe Market. Therefore, workers are encouraged to apply ergonomic principles, perform regular stretching exercises, make good use of rest breaks, and manage their working duration to reduce the risk of developing Low Back Pain | 1 |
