| Abstract | Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem characterized by growth faltering in toddlers due to long-term malnutrition. One of the factors associated with stunting incidence is access to clean water and drinking water treatment. This study aimed to determine the relationship between access to clean water and drinking water treatment with the incidence of stunting in toddlers in Perpulungen Village, Kerajaan District, Pakpak Bharat Regency in 2026. This study utilized a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample consisted of 58 respondents selected using the total sampling technique. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis with the Chi-Square test. The results showed that 30 toddlers (51.7%) experienced stunting. The Chi-Square test results indicated a significant relationship between access to clean water and the incidence of stunting (p=0.036; OR=0.322), as well as a significant relationship between drinking water treatment and the incidence of stunting (p=0.001; OR=0.129). It is concluded that access to clean water and drinking water treatment are associated with the incidence of stunting in toddlers. Therefore, it is necessary to improve access to clean water, safe drinking water treatment, and public education to support stunting prevention efforts. | 1 |
