| Abstract | The low level of exclsive breastfeeding often occurs due to the lack of information received by pregnant women about breastfeeding preparation from the beginning of pregnancy. The group of primigravida pregnant women and are in the third trimester require an appropriate educational approach before giving birth. Objective: This study aimed to examine the impact of exclusive breastfeeding education through the use of leaflets on the knowledge of primigravida pregnant women in the third trimester about breastfeeding preparation at the Fitri Asih Pratama Clinic in 2026. Method: This type of quantitative research applied a Pre-Experimental design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design approach. The population studied consisted of 25 primigravida pregnant women in the third trimester who underwent Antenatalcare (ANC) with the Total Sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using the non-parametric Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. Results before the intervention (Pre-test), most respondents had sufficient knowledge, namely 14 people (56.0%) the poor category was 10 people (40.0%), and the good category was only 1 person (4.0%). After education was given (Post-test), there was a significant increase in the level of knowledge to the good category of 22 people (88.0%) and sufficient 3 people (12.0%). The results of the Wilcoxon test showed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating that all samples that showed changes experienced an increase in scores. Conclusion: There is a significant impact of providing exclusive breastfeeding education through leaflets on respondents’ knowledge. Suggestions it is hoped that pregnant women will read the psychomotor (practice) stage or conduct long-term observasional studies to monitor the effects of exclusive breastfeeding after giving birth.
