| Abstract | Unsafe actions are one of the main causes of work accidents in industrial environments. Unsafe behavior can be influenced by various factors, such as knowledge, attitude, motivation, and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE). Based on the results of initial observations in the Bubch Crusher Area of PKS PTPN IV Regional 2 Adolina, workers were still found not using complete PPE, did not comply with work procedures, and carried out unsafe actions while working. This study aims to determine the factors that influence unsafe actions in Bubch Crusher Area workers at PKS PTPN IV Regional 2 Adolina in 2026. This type of research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design using an observational analytical approach. The study was conducted at PKS PTPN IV Regional 2 Adolina from February to June 2026. The population in this study were all Bubch Crusher Area workers totaling 70 people with a sample of 60 respondents obtained using a random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate methods using the chi-square test with a 95% confidence level (α = 0.05). The results showed a relationship between knowledge, attitudes, motivation, and availability of PPE and unsafe actions among workers in the Bubch Crusher Area at PTPN IV Regional 2 Adolina Mill in 2026. The most dominant factors influencing unsafe actions were workers' attitudes and PPE availability. The study concluded that knowledge, attitudes, motivation, and PPE availability are related to unsafe actions among workers. It is recommended that companies improve OHS supervision, provide regular training, and ensure the availability of complete PPE to reduce the risk of workplace accidents. | 1 |
