| Abstract | Fire is a type of disaster that often occurs, especially in workplaces and public facilities, and has the potential to cause physical damage, casualties, and significant economic losses. This research aims to identify factors associated with fire disaster preparedness among workers in the Production Department of PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia. Quantitative research using a cross-sectional approach and observational methodology is employed. There were 157 workers in the research population, and 62 responders made up the sample. With all p-values < 0.05, the analysis results revealed a relationship between knowledge and fire disaster preparedness (p-value = 0.003), a relationship between attitude and fire disaster preparedness (p-value = 0.003), a correlation between training and fire disaster preparedness (p-value = 0.003), and a relationship between the availability of facilities and infrastructure and fire disaster preparedness (p-value = 0.002). Companies are advised to enhance workers' knowledge, attitudes, and skills related to fire preparedness through education, training, and regular simulations. In addition, companies need to ensure that fire protection facilities are fully available, easily accessible, and functioning properly to support workers' preparedness in facing fire emergencies. keywords: Knowledge, attitude, training, availability of facilities, fire disaster preparednes | 1 |
