| Abstract | Administrative service is the patient's initial contact at the hospital, playing a crucial role in shaping the patient's initial experience and perception of the hospital's quality. However, at Sapta Medika Indrapura Hospital, complaints were still found regarding long waiting times and a lack of clear information in the registration department. This study aims to determine the relationship between the quality of excellent health administration services and patient experience at Sapta Medika Indrapura Hospital, Batu Bara Regency in 2026. This quantitative study utilized an observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 30 inpatient respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires and bivariate data were analyzed using Fisher's Exact Test. Univariate analysis revealed that the majority of respondents (73.3% or 22 individuals) rated the quality of excellent administrative services in the poor category. Accordingly, the majority of respondents (66.7% or 20 individuals) had a negative patient experience. The statistical results from Fisher's Exact Test showed a p-value of 0.007 (p < 0.05). There is a significant relationship between the quality of excellent health administration services and patient experience at Sapta Medika Indrapura Hospital, Batu Bara Regency in 2026. The better the service quality provided, the more positive the patient experience will be. | 1 |
