| Abstract | ABSTRACT Safety culture is one of the important factors in preventing workplace accidents within a company. Poor implementation of safety culture can increase the risk of workplace accidents among workers. This study aimed to determine the relationship between safety culture and workplace accidents at PTPN 4 Regional 2 Dolok Ilir in 2026.This study used a quantitative method with a cross sectional design. The population consisted of all workers at PTPN 4 Regional 2 Dolok Ilir, totaling 77 respondents, using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the chi-square test with a 95% confidence level. The results showed that there was a relationship between management commitment to occupational safety and workplace accidents (p-value = 0.001), there was a relationship between workers’ compliance with work procedures and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and workplace accidents (p-value = 0.000), there was a relationship between safety communication and reporting and workplace accidents (p-value = 0.018), and there was a relationship between occupational safety and health training and socialization and workplace accidents (p-value = 0.001). The conclusion of this study is that safety culture is associated with workplace accidents at PTPN 4 Regional 2 Dolok Ilir in 2026. Companies are expected to improve the implementation of safety culture through supervision of PPE use, occupational safety training, safety briefings, and strengthening safety communication. | 1 |
