| Abstract | Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is a disorder of the median nerve that can occur due to repetitive hand movements. Emping craftsmen are among the workers at risk of developing CTS because the production process is performed manually, involving repetitive motions and long working hours. This study is aimed to determine the relationship between work duration and CTS complaints among emping craftsmen in Wonorejo Village, Pematang Bandar District, in 2026. This study used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 45 respondents selected using a total sampling technique. The results showed that 60.0% of respondents had work durations that did not comply with the Threshold Limit Value (TLV), and 75.6% experienced CTS complaints. The Chi-Square test showed a p-value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant relationship between work duration and CTS complaints among emping craftsmen. It is recommended that craftsmen implement regular rest periods, perform periodic stretching exercises, and use ergonomic work equipment to reduce the risk of CTS.
