| Abstract | The use of the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) is an effort to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of health services. The successful use of HMIS is influenced by various factors, including the work environment and the workload of health workers. In Medan Hajj Hospital, there is still limited supporting facilities, network disorders, and high workloads that cause the use of HMIS not optimal yet. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between work environment and workload with the use of HMIS in health workers in the Medan HajI RSU Outpatient Service in 2026. This study uses a quantitative method with cross sectional design. The study population were to 55 health workers and all populations were sampled with total sampling techniques. Data was collected using questionnaires and analyzed univariate and bivariat using a chi-square test with a trust rate of 95% (α = 0.05). The results showed that most respondents had a good work environment, high workload, and optimal HMIS usage. The results of the Chi-Square test showed a significant relationship between the work environment with the use of HMIS (p = 0,000) and between workloads with the use of HMIS (p = 0,000). It was concluded that the work environment and workload were significantly related to the use of HMIS in health workers in the Medan Haji RSU Outpatient Service in 2026. It was suggested to the hospital to improve the quality of the work environment through the supply of adequate facilities and infrastructure, maintaining network stability, and carrying out load management Work and training using simrs regularly so that the use of HMIS is increasingly optimal in supporting health services. | 1 |
