| Abstract | The risk of work accidents in container stevedoring workers (TKBM) in the port area is influenced by various factors, including the condition of the work environment. PT Pelindo TEDS TALLY Belawan is an area with high mobility that demands strict work safety aspects. This study aimed to determine the relationship between work environment conditions and the risk of work accidents in container stevedoring workers at PT Pelindo TEDS TALLY Belawan in 2026. This study research was analytical quantitative research with an observational study design. The sample in this study amounted to 40 container stevedoring workers taken using certain sampling techniques. Data were analyzed univariately and bivariately using the Chi-Square statistical test (2 × 2 contingency table). The results of the first bivariate test showed a significant relationship between the first work environment factor (assuming independent variable 1) and the risk of work accidents, with a Continuity Correction value of 26.069 and a $p\text{-value} value = 0.000 (p < 0.05). Furthermore, the test results for the second work environment factor (assuming independent variable 2) also showed a significant relationship with the risk of work accidents; the Continuity Correction value was 9.925, and the value = 0.002 < p < 0.05. The expected count value in both tests met the Chi-Square test requirements (0% of cells had an expected value < 5). There was a statistically significant relationship between work environment conditions and the risk of work accidents in container TKBM at PT Pelindo TEDS TALLY Belawan in 2026. It is recommended that PT Pelindo management continue to improve safety standards, conduct regular evaluations of work environment conditions, and tighten supervision of the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to reduce the risk of work accidents.
