| Abstract | Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders are a common occupational health problem across various industrial sectors, including food service and catering. Catering workers are particularly susceptible to Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders due to manual material handling, repetitive movements, non-ergonomic working postures, and prolonged standing. This study aimed to analyze the risk of Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders among workers at Zhafira Catering in Jambi City and to examine its association with age, sex, body mass index, length of employment, ergonomic hazard potential, and manual lifting load. A cross-sectional study design was employed, involving 70 workers as respondents. Data were collected through a Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders survey questionnaire, an ergonomic hazard potential checklist, and a manual lifting load assessment form. Data analysis was conducted using Spearman's rho correlation test. All respondents (100%) reported pain complaints during work, with 60% classified in the high-risk Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders category. All work positions were rated as hazardous in ergonomic hazard potential. Bivariate analysis showed no significant association between age, sex, body mass index, and length of employment with Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders risk. Conversely, significant associations were identified between ergonomic hazard potential (r=0.772; p=0.000) and manual lifting load (r=0.355; p=0.003) with Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders risk. Comprehensive ergonomic control measures, including engineering controls, administrative controls, worker training, and periodic health surveillance, are strongly warranted.
