| Abstract | Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic metabolic disease with a continuously increasing prevalence globally and nationally, making periodic drug use evaluations crucial to ensure rational therapy at the primary healthcare level. This study aimed to determine patient characteristics, identify the profile of oral antidiabetic drug use, and evaluate the rationality of T2DM drug use at Patiluban Mudik Public Health Center based on the indicators of right indication, right patient, right drug, right dose, and right route of administration. This quantitative study utilized a descriptive observational design with a retrospective approach. Sampling was conducted using a purposive sampling technique on patient medical record data from July to December 2025, yielding a total sample of 105 medical records that met the inclusion criteria. The results showed that the majority of T2DM patients were aged 56–65 years (32.38%), female (63%), worked as housewives (30%), and had achieved a high school education level (45%). Monotherapy profiles were dominated by Metformin (55,23%), while combination therapy was dominated by the combination of Metformin and Sulfonylureas (55%). Evaluation of treatment rationality demonstrated a 100% compliance rate across all indicators (right indication, right patient, right drug, right dose, and right route of administration) based on the Indonesian Society of Endocrinology 2021 Guidelines. It can be concluded that the use of type 2 diabetes mellitus drugs at Patiluban Mudik Public Health Center fully meets the criteria for rational drug use. | 1 |
