| Abstract | Activities in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry are never free from the potential risk of occupational accidents. Workers in this industry are frequently exposed to hazardous chemicals and involved in complex production processes. Implementing an effective occupational safety culture in the pharmaceutical industry is crucial, not only to protect the well-being and safety of workers but also to enhance productivity and maintain product quality standards. Therefore, it is essential for pharmaceutical companies to adopt effective and sustainable safety culture practices. This study aims to determine the relationship between occupational safety culture and employees' safe behavior. This research utilizes a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. Data were analyzed using the Spearman test, followed by a multivariate analysis to identify the factor most influential on employees' safe behavior. A total of 78 samples were obtained using the purposive sampling method. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires distributed to 78 respondents. Based on the bivariate analysis using the Spearman’s rho test, a correlation was found between the occupational health and safety (OHS) culture and employees' safe behavior with a value of p<0.05. In conclusion, a better occupational safety culture correlates with better safe behavior among employees at PT. Mutiara Mukhti Farma Deli Serdang.
