| Abstract | Hospitals are health-care facilities with high occupational risks; therefore, the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is essential to protect health workers, patients, and the service environment. However, health workers’ compliance with OSH procedures at Dr. Pirngadi General Hospital Medan remains a concern, particularly in relation to personal protective equipment use, standard operating procedure implementation, supervision, and incident reporting. This study aimed to analyze factors influencing health workers’ compliance with OSH implementation at Dr. Pirngadi General Hospital Medan in 2025. This research used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The population consisted of 229 health workers, including nurses and midwives, and 70 respondents were selected using random sampling based on the Slovin formula. Primary data were collected using questionnaires, while secondary data were obtained from the hospital profile, SOP documents, human resource data, and OSH program documents. Data were analyzed using univariate analysis, bivariate analysis with the Chi-Square test, and multivariate analysis with multiple logistic regression. The results showed that most respondents were non-compliant with OSH implementation, namely 37 respondents (52.9%). Bivariate analysis showed significant effects of knowledge (p=0.005; OR=4.154), attitude (p=0.008; OR=3.692), availability of personal protective equipment (p=0.003; OR=4.381), availability of SOPs (p=0.019; OR=3.208), OSH management supervision (p=0.002; OR=4.725), and OSH training (p=0.002; OR=4.725) on health workers’ compliance. Multivariate analysis indicated that knowledge was the most dominant factor, with an OR of 5.179. In conclusion, health workers’ compliance with OSH implementation needs to be improved, particularly through strengthening knowledge, developing positive attitudes, ensuring PPE availability, improving management supervision, and conducting continuous OSH training.
