| Abstract | Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) was one of the most common occupational diseases among workers who performed repetitive hand movements, worked for long hours, and had long periods of employment. The furniture industry was considered one of the sectors with a high risk of CTS because most production processes were still carried out manually. This study aimed to determine the factors affecting the risk of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) among workers at PT. Mebel Berkah Jaya Perabot. This study used a quantitative analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population of this study consisted of 30 workers, all of whom were selected as the research sample using the total sampling technique. Data were collected through interviews using questionnaires, direct observation, and the Phalen's Test. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analyses with the Chi-Square test at a 95% confidence level (α = 0.05). The results showed that age (p = 0.045), length of employment (p = 0.005), repetitive movements (p = 0.002), and daily working hours (p = 0.007) were significantly associated with the risk of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) among workers at PT. Mebel Berkah Jaya Perabot. This study concluded that age, length of employment, repetitive movements, and daily working hours were factors affecting the risk of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS). Therefore, the company was recommended to implement ergonomic work programs, provide adequate rest periods, encourage regular stretching exercises, and conduct periodic health monitoring to reduce the risk of CTS among workers.
