| Abstract | Tuberculosis (TB) remains one of the major infectious diseases and continues to be a significant public health problem in Indonesia. The success of tuberculosis treatment is influenced by various factors that determine patients' recovery outcomes. This study aimed to identify the factors associated with successful tuberculosis treatment at Sopobutar Community Health Center, Dairi Regency, in 2025.This study employed an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of all TB patients who underwent treatment at Sopobutar Community Health Center, Dairi Regency, in 2025. The samples were selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected from medical records and structured questionnaires covering respondents' characteristics, medication adherence, family support, nutritional status, knowledge of tuberculosis, and the role of Treatment Supporters (PMO). Data were analyzed using univariate analysis, bivariate analysis with the Chi-Square test, and multivariate analysis using logistic regression at a 95% confidence level. The results showed that medication adherence (p < 0.014), family support (p < 0.014), nutritional status (p < 0.020), knowledge of tuberculosis (p < 0.030), and drug side effects (p < 0.031) were significantly associated with successful tuberculosis treatment. Medication adherence was identified as the most dominant factor associated with treatment success. In conclusion, the success of tuberculosis treatment is influenced by several factors, with medication adherence being the most significant determinant. Therefore, strengthening health education, enhancing family support, and improving patients' nutritional status are essential strategies to increase the treatment success rate among TB patients at Sopobutar Community Health Center, Dairi Regency. | 1 |
