Abstract ANALYSIS OF FACTORS ASSOCIATED WITH NURSES' READINESS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF AN INTEGRATED ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORD SYSTEM AT VITA INSANI HOSPITAL, PEMATANGSIANTAR, IN 2025 Hospitals are required to improve the quality of healthcare services through the implementation of information technology, one of which is the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. The implementation of EMRs can enhance efficiency, accuracy, data security, and the quality of healthcare services. However, the successful implementation of EMRs is highly influenced by the readiness of human resources, infrastructure, governance, organizational culture, and management support. At Vita Insani Hospital, Pematangsiantar, EMR implementation has reached 100% in outpatient services, while inpatient services have achieved approximately 70%. In addition, the rate of Incomplete Medical Record Documentation (IMRD) remained relatively high at 55% in 2025. These findings indicate that EMR implementation has not yet been fully optimized, highlighting the need to assess nurses' readiness as the primary users of the system. This study aimed to analyze the factors associated with nurses' readiness in the implementation of an integrated Electronic Medical Record system at Vita Insani Hospital, Pematangsiantar, in 2025. This study employed a quantitative research design using a cross-sectional approach. The study was conducted at Vita Insani Hospital, Pematangsiantar, from November 2025 to March 2026, involving 74 nurses selected using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis included univariate analysis, bivariate analysis using the Chi-square test, and multivariate analysis using multiple logistic regression at a 95% confidence level (α = 0.05). The results showed that computer facilities, knowledge, and attitudes were significantly associated with the implementation of Electronic Medical Records at Vita Insani Hospital, Pematangsiantar, in 2025. Multivariate analysis revealed that attitude was the most dominant factor associated with EMR implementation, with an Odds Ratio (OR) of 8.343 meaning 8 times. Therefore, the hospital is recommended to strengthen training programs, provide continuous technical assistance, improve computer facilities, and conduct regular monitoring and evaluation to support the successful implementation of Electronic Medical Records.
