| Abstract | The standard of competence becomes the most important thing in any nursing action, it is sometimes not noticed by the nurse that makes the workload on the nurses increasingly heavy. The type of research used is quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach or penetration that aims to find out the relationship between the workload and the work motivation of nurses in dorms in Rs Sembiring in 2026. The population in this study is the whole of the nurses at Sembiring Medan General Hospital. The sample selection in this study was done using the Slovin formula so that 75 respondents were obtained. Based on the results of statistical tests using Pearson obtained there is a relationship of physical workload with motivation of nurses work with p value = 0.03 and r = -0.251. There is a relation of psychological workload and motivation work nursing with p values = 0.02 and R = -0.354, then there is the relationship of the workload of time with the motivation job nursed with p Value = 0.021 and r= -0.266 In the multivariate analysis obtains the relation of workload psychology with motivations of work is a dominant factor obtaining the value of p value 0.005 with odd ratio of 2.901. For hospitals it is advised to be able to manage the portion of the workload given both in terms of physical time and the psychology of the nurse to be balanced, because it is important to increase the motivation of the Nurse's work. | id |
