| Abstract | Introduction: The implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is part of the digital transformation of healthcare services, expected to enhance the speed, accuracy, security, and efficiency of care. However, EMR implementation at Teungku Fakinah General Hospital, Banda Aceh, still faces several challenges, including staff proficiency in using the system, service waiting times, and system optimization. Research Objective: To determine the relationship between EMR implementation and outpatient service quality at Teungku Fakinah General Hospital, Banda Aceh, in 2026. Research Methods: This study employed a quantitative method with a correlational-analytic approach and a cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of outpatients receiving services at Teungku Fakinah General Hospital, Banda Aceh. The sample comprised 100 respondents selected using accidental sampling. Data collection was conducted via a Likert-scale questionnaire. Data analysis included univariate and bivariate analyses using the Spearman Rank test. Results: The Spearman Rank test results showed a correlation coefficient of 0.267 with a p-value of 0.007 (p<0.05). This indicates a significant relationship between the implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and the quality of outpatient services, characterized by a positive direction and a weak strength of association. The study concludes that there is a significant relationship between EMR implementation and outpatient service quality at Teungku Fakinah General Hospital, Banda Aceh, in 2026. The hospital is expected to optimize EMR usage through healthcare worker training, periodic system evaluations, and the provision of supporting facilities and infrastructure to enhance the quality of outpatient services. | 1 |
