| Abstract | Analysis of the Effect of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Implementation on Service Time Efficiency at RSUD Pidie Jaya in 2026. Undergraduate Thesis, Health Information Management Study Program, Deli Husada Health Institute Deli Tua. Digital transformation in the healthcare sector has become an urgent necessity in line with the Regulation of the Minister of Health Number 24 of 2022, which mandates all healthcare facilities to implement Electronic Medical Records (EMR). RSUD Pidie Jaya has transitioned from manual to electronic medical record systems to address previously long service waiting times; however, the impact of this implementation on service time efficiency has not been thoroughly analyzed. To describe the implementation of EMR and service time efficiency, as well as to analyze the effect of EMR implementation on service time efficiency at RSUD Pidie Jaya in 2026. This study employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The population consisted of all 679 healthcare workers at RSUD Pidie Jaya, with a sample size of 252 respondents calculated using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through questionnaires and direct observation, then analyzed using univariate analysis and simple linear regression. Most respondents rated EMR implementation as Good (51%) and Sufficient (49%). The average physician consultation waiting time decreased from 146 minutes to 139.8 minutes, while pharmacy service waiting time dropped significantly from 99.8 minutes to 55.8 minutes following EMR implementation. Statistical analysis revealed a significant effect of EMR implementation on service time efficiency with a significance value of p < 0.001. EMR implementation contributed 7.4% to the improvement in service time efficiency. Electronic Medical Record implementation at RSUD Pidie Jaya is running well and has been proven to significantly improve service time efficiency, particularly in pharmacy services. Regular system infrastructure maintenance and improved compliance with real-time data entry are recommended to maintain and enhance hospital service performance. | id |
