| Abstract | Electronic Medical Records (EMR) are digital systems for recording and managing patients’ health information that may support faster, more accurate, and more efficient healthcare services. This study aimed to analyze the effect of EMR on service efficiency at PB Selayang II Community Health Center, Medan, in 2026. A quantitative analytical study with a cross-sectional approach was conducted in June 2026. The population and sample consisted of 50 healthcare workers selected through total sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire that had undergone validity and reliability testing. The analysis included univariate analysis and the relationship/effect analysis reported in the study. The results showed that 45 respondents (90%) rated EMR implementation as very good, while 5 (10%) rated it as good. Service efficiency was rated very good by 48 respondents (96%) and good by 2 respondents (4%). Simple linear regression yielded a regression coefficient (B) of 0.405, a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.624, a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.389, and a significance value of 0.000 (p<0.05). These findings indicate a positive and statistically significant effect of EMR on service efficiency. The R² value indicates that EMR explains 38.9% of the variation in service efficiency, while the remaining 61.1% is associated with other factors outside the model. Continued system optimization and user competency development are recommended to sustain service efficiency. | 1 |
