| Abstract | Particulate Hazards often go unnoticed in the workplace because of their invisible nature makes workers ignore the risks. According to ILO 2021, around 450,000 deaths globally are linked to particulate exposure such as dust, gases, and fumes. Limited awareness of these hazards negatively impacts safety behavior. This research aims to develop an concept of Augmented Reality (AR) application to visualize Particulate Matter (PM) in indoor work environments as an intervention tool for HSE teams in promoting workplace safety behavior. This research uses a literature review-based design and development research method to design the initial concept of AR PMlens application. AR PMlens visualizes PM10, PM2.5 concentrations based on Inverse Distance Weighted (IDW) interpolation, displayed through QR Code, and equipped with Threshold Limit Value (TLV), health effect, and recommendations. The effectiveness of the application is analyzed using the ABC Model (Antecedent-Behavior- Consequence) that is related to safety behavior. Based on the literature review, the AR PMlens application can act as an antecedent in the ABC Model, it stimulates workers’ perceptions of particulate hazards so that they can form safety behavior. This application offers a practical solution for high-risk workplaces to enhance hazard awareness and foster safer behavior through visualization.
