Abstract Prolonged computer use can cause eye fatigue complaints or Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS), characterized by dry and sore eyes, blurred vision, and headaches. Globally, around 60 million people suffer from eye fatigue, and in Indonesia 83.7% of computer users report similar complaints. A preliminary survey of office workers at PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia found that some workers experienced these complaints after working more than 3–4 hours continuously in front of a computer without adequate rest. This study is aimed to determine the relationship between the duration of computer use and eye fatigue complaints among office workers at PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia in 2026. This study was a quantitative study using an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of all 32 office workers at PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia, with the entire population taken as the sample using a total sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed univariately and bivariately using the Chi-Square test at a 95% confidence level (α = 0.05). The results showed that most respondents used computers for <4 hours/day (56.3%), and eye fatigue complaints were evenly distributed between severe and mild categories (50.0% each). The Chi-Square test yielded a p-value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), indicating a statistically significant relationship between duration of computer use and eye fatigue complaints. Workers who used computers for ≥4 hours/day had a higher proportion of severe eye fatigue (81.3%) compared to those who used computers for <4 hours/day. It is concluded that there is a significant relationship between duration of computer use and eye fatigue complaints among office workers at PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia. Workers are advised to apply the 20-20-20 rule and take regular eye breaks to reduce the risk of eye fatigue. 1
